the site has been updated: a lot of stuff has been moved around. this is the way it's probably going to stay.
no more interfaces, blah blah. drop the main frag in, run the scripts to do static file generation via a couple slightly alter'd blosxom scripts (different configs for each so we can create our sidebar includes, our rss, and our shtml elegantly), done. (and don't ask us why we're using the same script with different configs because we're too lazy to answer and too smart to keep a needless fork when change the config, wrap in a script, whap, blam, you're done).
considering our funky mechanism (which we like better than anything, ever), we may have to do some additional tweaks to make our previews "like the real thing", but it shouldn't be much to talk about. considering the advantages (leans on least expensive resource, easy to redo later, has the features we want and nothing else, easy to hack, etc etc etc), we have to laugh and laugh and laugh that organizations are maintaining expensive story server installations when one geek, one day, GPL code, zero dollars gets you to about the same place, unless you really really see a lot of value in spending millions to maintain a large staff of marketroid airheads who can't be bothered to learn the basics of their chosen line of work... we'll take 287 lines of terse Perl code (200 if you discount comments and empty lines, 116 if you eliminate linebreaks for legibility), and keep the clever folks, thank you.
go nuts, you psychos. be seeing you.
