I was gonna write something about Sleep. But I'm not gonna say it any better than this. except that guy isn't giving absolutego enough credit. but there are several detune sequences here that are the sonic equivalent of a rollercoaster drop. mighty.
what the hell? i like heavy. like Boris: how did I miss this for so long? what else can you say about a record with a pastel-ish kartoony depiction of a bug-eyed barbarian in a skullkap, with fangs, big clawed talonfeet, waving a scimitar, riding a horse with 4 heads, each more demonic than the last but possibly only shadow-heads, with a back cover of a wizard kinda guy and some weird incense stuff. it's enough to make electric wizard's "wizard with bong" album cover look "not that stoned"?
